Relevance to Cox’s Road: The Glenbrook Lagoon is the only free standing water body in the Blue Mountains and was first recorded by Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth in 1813. It subsequently became an important camping site adjacent to Cox’s Road, which passed close by the western edge of the Lagoon.
