Relevance to Cox’s Road: The Scar Tree protected here by a fenced shelter was removed from adjacent to Cox’s Road near Soldiers Pinch, a very steep section of road, approximately 1.4km north of this site. The tree was removed to enable road widening and a reduction in road grade on the Great Western Highway.
